1 Cinderella Cinderella” by Curtis Chapman
The wife of a rich man fell sick, and she felt that she was dying, so she called her only daughter to come beside her. She told her to be good and pious, and then the God will always protect thee. Once winter was over and the spring sun has drawn off the man had taken another wife. The woman brought two evil but pretty daughters with her. Once there they made her life miserable. They took her pretty clothes away from her, and put an old grey bed gown on her. She had nowhere to sleep but beside the fireside in the ashes. They called her Cinderella because she was always dirty and dusty. Now it happened that the king proclaimed a festival and all the beautiful young girl of the land were invited. Her evil step sisters ordered her to get them ready for the dance. When Cinderella asked if she could go the step mother did not give her permission because she didn’t have the proper clothes. So she went to her mothers grave and cried out for help. Magically laying on her mothers grave was a gold dress. Cinderella put on the dress all three nights and danced with the prince but she always left at midnight. To prevent this the prince covered the stairs with pine tar and on the third day She managed to escape leaving behind her shoe that got stuck on the pine tar. The prince then scowers the land looking for his lost love, finally coming to the home of Cinderella and her wicked step-family. Her first wicked step sister tries on the shoe, but it doesn't fit, so she cuts off her heel and the unsuspecting Prince takes her as his bride. He discovers some blood on the shoe and takes her back. The second step-sister tries on the shoe but it doesn't fit, so she cuts off her big toe, and the unsuspecting princes takes her as his bride. but the second step-sister didn't have any more luck then her sister; he fond the shoe and took her back. Finally, Cinderella tries on the shoe, it fits, she puts on the other glass slipper, and she lives happily ever after. Cinderella” by Curtis Chapman “She spins and she sways to whatever song plays, Without a care in the world. And I’m sitting here wearing the weight of the world on my shoulders. It’s been a long day and there’s still work to do, She’s pulling at me saying "Dad I need you! There’s a ball at the castle and I’ve been invited and I need to practice my dancin” So I will dance with Cinderella While she is here in my arms ‘Cause I know something the prince never knew Oh I will dance with Cinderella I don’t want to miss even one song ‘Cause too soon the clock will strike at midnight, And she’ll be gone.
