Sparrows Class Activity Ideas For each subject there are many ways to promote education and develop understanding in the home. These are ideas that you may wish to use in order to support the curriculum. They are just initial ideas; you may wish to do your own activity! Please make sure you take lots of photographs. Literacy Practise identifying our own name from a choice of 2/3 Choose a story to read Create props and pictures from a story Participate in a sensory story Numeracy Press buttons on an electronic toy to make it move forwards, backwards, left and right Make an obstacle course to guide the toy around Find objects hidden under a container Take one, two and three objects out of a container Design Technology .Find different bags around the home and look at what they are used for Go to a bag shop and look at different bag designs Print patterns using paint suitable for a bag Design a bag using different materials Science Take photographs of different electrical items around the home.
