If the Federal Government is closed, then First Light will not meet. If the Federal Government is on liberal leave, delayed or open, then First Light will meet.

8. 1 Peter 2:17
“Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the emperor.”
In light of the recent election, and in reference to life in general, consider the four commands in this passage. How are you doing in these areas?
Check out the questions on the next slide. Discuss this with your family, your friends, co-workers (??). This should generate some interesting and lively discussion.

How do we show proper respect for others (in ALL circumstances)?
How do we love the family (even when we don’t agree with them.
How do we fear God (and not the man)
How do we honor the emperor (President) even if we didn’t want him or her?
