Attraction of Hate • Youth learn to scapegoat for personal economic, academic, or social failure/decline. • Hate groups provide a sense of belonging. • Prejudice is reinforced in the home, or youths are rebelling against their parents’ values. • Misinformation, lack of education, and peer pressure promote unquestioning acceptance of propaganda.
