PEER-TO-PEER ACTIVATION SESSION
Description: The last session of Transitions Academy will combine the sharing of best practices and action planning. The objective is for attendees to leave with new ideas for how they will act on what they learned from the event. Each room will be lead by a Transitions facilitator who will introduce discussion topics. Each table of 10 people (a mix of eyecare professionals, retailers, lab and lenscaster reps) will then be encouraged to share their ideas and capture next steps. Each table will also have an assigned table captain to help keep the dialogue going.

INSERT PRESENTER TITLE HERE
NAME INSERT PRESENTER TITLE HERE 5 min. Set-up Hello, I’m… Welcome to the last course of Transitions Academy 2017! Although this is the last session, we don’t want the learning to end here. That is the purpose of this course, to bring everything you’ve learned over the past few days together and create a plan for how you will incorporate this knowledge into achieving your future goals. To do this, we will have several activities for you to complete throughout this session based on different topics. At your table, you have one table captain to help lead your discussion and answer any questions you may have. Our table captains are members of our Transitions Pro Forum advisory group, our Transitions Change Agent program, finalists from our Innovation Awards and other Transitions advocates. Let’s take a min. for our table captains to introduce themselves and share why they are an advocate for Transitions lenses. (Table captains – share with your group who you are, and why you advocate for Transitions lenses) For each activity, you will be asked to share your thoughts with your group. Enter your goals in the App
Step 1: Open the Academy app and select the “QR Scanner” from the menu Step 2: Scan the QR code at the top of the worksheet. Step 3: Share your goals! Step 4: Buddy Up! At this time I want everyone to take out their phone, open the Academy app and enter your goals. Having a friend to encourage you to achieve your goals is always easier than doing it on your own. We want you to pair up with another attendee and follow up (like a buddy system) and pick a date later in the year to that person and ask them about their actions and progress. Go into your calendar and put in a reminder so you and your buddy can update each other on your progress towards your goals. Take a look around the room and take advantage of your new network. Let’s all work together to make everyone better!
