The Sumerians developed the cuneiform.
Sentence-The Sumerians used stylists to write onto clay tablets because they didn’t have and paper or pen.

Sentence-She saw a pictograph carved on that wall.

4. Scribe
Definition-a writer Sentence-Government officials and temples hired scribes to keep their records.

5. Epic Definition-Long poems that tell the stories of heroes.
Sentence-Later, people used some of these poems to create The Epic of Gilgamesh, the story of a Sumerian king.
