3 When I Met the Velveteen Rabbit
When I was little I always liked to dance Ballet. My mom had signed me up for a play. The play was a story I had on my book shelf, The Velveteen Rabbit. My mom took me to the studio and they taught me what my part was. I was an Elf. I was really nervous. But now I only remember one line, “NO MORE JUMPING ON THE BED!” That was a fun memory. After the play I felt good inside.

4 Picture Mania for Babies- February 28, 2006
My little sister was born on February 28, Before that day my grandma and I were in my house all alone. I told my grandma an idea of what we could do, put pictures all around the house for my new sister!!! She said it was a great idea, by the end of the day the house was covered in pictures. Ounce my mom and the baby got home my mom was surprised she lay down in bed and we all looked at her, she cried of joy. I love my little sister, now she is 5 in Kindergarten. I love her so much! This isn’t my sister

5 My Stay of Fun My grandma once came to my house in California and the day before she left my parents said I could go with her, just me. I was super excited I was shaking. As soon as I got to Utah my grandma lead me to my room and I dropped my bags, I was starving. We went to the kitchen got a major breakfast. We started playing lego, my back was aching so I told my grandma we should play a different game. We agreed on hide the lego in the kitchen. I hid 8 legoss and my grandma started looking for them. As soon as she found 7 she couldn’t find anymore. I had forgotten where it was so we just kept playing. Later we went swimming. That was one fun vacation with my grandma! Saint George, Utah Mountains

6 My Ticket to Singapore- August, 2009
Creek went the door. 7:00am, I walked outside and my family was packing up my grandma’s car with our suit cases. “Hi, Mady. Get in the car please,” my mom told me. I went in the car, laying down next to me were my little brother and sister fast asleep. ‘Were moving to Singapore, oh yeah,’ my brain thought, ‘Grandma’s coming with us.’ We got to the airport. “Why is this airport so big?” I asked, “Are the planes big?” “The airport is big because people from all around the world come to this airport,” my mom told me. We used our passport and went to security. We waited for the plane. It finally was here! We hopped on and got in our seats. “This is amazing!” I said. We flew off as I turned the TV on.

7 My Universal Birthday- November 17, 2010
In November I went to Universal Studios with my friends because… It was almost my BIRTHDAY! We got there and went straight on the Mummy, none of us have ever gone on the Mummy. We walked through the creepy line. “Aaaahhhhh!” we would here people scream in the dim lights and tombs everywhere. As soon as we got to the front of the line we scooted into the seats of the ride. The ride started moving, everyone screamed. It all of a sudden stopped but only for a second. It started moving again. I closed my eyes the whole time. After the ride was finished we all went on again. After that, we didn’t go on anymore and explored the other rides.

8 First Irish Dancing Performance at the County Fair
“Madyson and Sophie, beginner group, performing the Irish Dancing Reel,” the announcer said. I walked up on stage. There was a crowd staring at me. I felt as if belly was full of frogs. The music started, the crowd stopped talking, and my feet started dancing. At the end of the dance I didn’t want to stop. I scooted off stage. Finally I got to go hang out and play the games at the County Fair. That performance was awesome! The River Dancers

9 The Mrs. Baildon Read the Day Away- May 2011
In fourth grade my class had a read the day away. We all brought snacks and goodies. We surrounded the room with pillows and blankets. We read, ate, read, ate, read, etc. We also got to paly games. “This is such a fun day,” Elaina said. I agreed. We left that day with a good memory, not a big one, just a memory.
