Not just an eating habit, but a LIFESTYLE. WHAT IS HEALTHY EATING / FOOD ? Help to be healthy and strong Healthy eating means eating a varienty of food.

Eatwell Plate Eating healthily doesn´t mean cutting out all the favourite foods, it´s about getting the balance right. A varienty of food is needed in our eating habits because different food contain substances that are needed to be healthy. The eatingwell plate shows how much we should eat of which food group. The eatingwell plate is based on 5 food groups. The two biggest groups are FRUITS & VEGETABLES and BREAD, RICE & POTATOES. Then the DAIRY FOODS come and then MEAT, FISH, EGGS &BEANS. The smallest group are FOODS & DRINKS WITH IN FAT AND / OR SUGAR.

FRUITS & VEGETABLES minerals & vitamins healthy body growth
fight infections diseases prevention Most of us aren´t eating enough FRUITS & VEGETABLES, but they are packed with vitamins and minerals. They´re an excellent source of dietary fibre which helps maintain a healthy gut and prevent other digestion problems. FRUITS & VEGETABLES that are high in dietary fibre can also reduce the risk of bowel cancer. Other effects on the body are: to grow and help to fight infections.

BREAD, RICE & POTATOES source for energy growth avoid overeating
Foods from this group are a good source of energy, fibre and B-vitamins. We should aim to make these foods the basis of our meals. Choose wholegrain variants because it´s healthier and have more fibre. Wholegrain foods help us to feel full longer. It protects against some types of cancer and reduce the risk of heart disease.

MILK & DAIRY FOOD source of calcium growth strong bones strong teeth
MILK & DAIRY FOOD are important sources of calcium. It helps build strong bones and lower blood pressure. It may reduce the risk of diabetes and it can help maintain a healthy weight. Preferably tooks the one with lower fat versions because as they contain less saturated fat.

FATTY & SUGARY FOOD energy warmth protection nuts
This food group should be avoided as they are high in fat, including saturated fat, sugar, salt. They may promote obesity which can lead to heart disease, type 2 diabetes and some cancers. It gives energy but little bit later the energy disappear. That why an apple as a snack is better than chocolate. Too many fatty foods in our diet can make us unhealthy as it is stored as fat in our bodies. Take plenty of exercise to try and help prevent this.

MEAT, FISH, EGGS & BEANS strong muscles omega-3-fatty acid
strong hair & nails healthy skin These should be eaten in moderate amounts. Meat is a good source of protein, vitamin B12 and iron. A diet rich in iron will help prevent iron defiency amaemia. Fish is also a good source because it´s high in protein and low in fat. It contain lots of omega 3 fatty acids and have been prove to be beneficial for heart health. Alternative to meat are eggs and beans because they are low in fat. If we eat plenty of food containing carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins and minerals, we will have plenty of energy to stay fit and healthy !

They have their own specialty which kind of insects they eat. Insects are cheap, sustainable, tasty protein source because it require less land and feed than raising cows or pigs. It has lots of vitamins and minerals and it is low in fat and cholesterol.

The main purpose of this progressive technology is to produce animal meat without using an acutual. The consequence of eating lab-grown meat are that the produce is very expensive. It´s unnatral and the scientist possible doesn´t know the health consequences. The meat is limited. The Benefits are it requires less water and less food input. It uses less greenhouse gases and the fat content in meat is controlled.
