School Districts in this phase.. Are learning about SBOE outcomes Are starting to collect the data necessary to evaluate their district Are working to align their mission and vision to that of the state Working and listening to other districts who have worked ahead

Elementary Schools in this phase.. Pre-K is started or expanded in numbers. This includes PAT Genius Hour is implemented Art, Music and PE are at taught all grade levels Exploring how to connect with the community – Boy Scouts Exploring how to get all students involved in extracurricular activities

School Districts in this phase… Understand that to achieve the outcomes for all students, school will need to redesigned. Ideas/Principles/Pillars Truly Personalized for kids Community and business infused Flexible design in neighborhood school PBL, Traditional Classes and Online choices Students remain in age social group (ex sophomores) but classes are across grades Inclusive of Special Education Outcomes are being hit, but not all leading the world

Elementary Schools in this phase… Outcomes are being hit, but not all leading the world Teachers are with student for multiple years (2-3) Music lessons are taught to every child two days a week, music class three days a week PE daily, with three recesses daily and 2-3 Brain Breaks in classrooms Art infused into every classroom

Elementary Schools in this phase… Social Emotional Learning is embedded in the school All three and four year olds have access to quality pre-k instruction School is organized into three segments – PBL within the community, individualized skill work and Genius Hour projects Community groups – Boy Scouts, 4-H, etc. are infused into school Every child is involved in some extracurricular activities

Secondary Schools in this phase… Flexible schedule is given to all students and choice in their schools – traditional, PBL, online and combination. Dual credit, AP and/or IB courses are offered for students wishing to accelerate All students are involved in extra-curricular activities Credits are awarded through a variety of traditional credits, competencies and outside of school competencies Individual plans of study allow for personalized study by students
