1 Mission Statement... The Space Wolverines will;
*Design, test, and launch a Balloon Sat into near space in order to measure infrared and visible light intensity at different altitudes, capture high altitude images of the Earth, and discover the details of the upper atmosphere. *Test how the intensity of visible light, infrared light and other parts of the electromagnetic spectrum changes with altitude by using photo sensing diodes placed under specific filters. *Two cameras: an infrared camera and a film camera. The infrared camera will detect heat emissions of the atmosphere and the ground below, specifically the urban areas within a 100 mile radius of the camera.

Functions: *Record the external and internal temp. *Record the relative humidity of the BalloonSat *No External Batteries Required HOBO SYSTEM

4 LIGHT INTENSITY SYSTEM
Parts: *Three Diodes *Each one placed Under a different filter (Infrared, Visible Light, and Both filters) *Intensity of light recorded at different altitudes by the photo diodes will be stored on BASIC stamp. *Data may lead to conclusions about the amount of light absorbed by the atmosphere *Diodes will be connected to a BASIC stamp. *Powered by one 9 volt battery. 5 IMAGE CAPTURE SYSTEM Parts: *Infrared Camera
(Will be made by placing a developed unexposed E6 film over the lens) *The E6 film will block out visible light *Visible Light Camera Functions of both cameras: *Capture near simultaneous images of the Earth *Connected to a timing circuit.
