Here is the front entrance to Lecanto Middle School. LMS is written on the front of the building. You can also see part of the parking lot.

This is the entry way coming through the front door. It leads you into the wonderful world of LECANTO MIDDLE SCHOOL

9. Mascot
Lecanto Middle School has a MASCOT. Their MASCOT is the Panther. You may see the MASCOT at an assembly or a football game. Lecanto Middle School is the Home of the Panthers.

10. Student Services Center
This door leads to the Student Services Center. You may go there is you need to make a phone call if you do not have a cell phone or if you have a problem with your locker. You may also go there if you have a discipline referral.

11. The Clinic
If you are sick or hurt, you may need to go to the CLINIC. It is also where you may need to go if you take any MEDICINE while you are at school. MS. COOMES is the CLINIC ATTENDANT and she will help you.

12. Busy Place
The CAFETERIA looks crowded. You will have a set amount of time to eat your lunch. You will sit with your class in a certain section of the CAFETERIA. Sometimes there may be special events in the cafeteria such as a dance. It will be fun

13. Lockers
You will probably have a LOCKER to keep your books in. The lockers have a combination lock. Some students use a key and a lock instead. Your teacher will know which will be best for you to use.

14. Stairs
These are the stairs to take you UP to the classrooms or DOWN to the cafeteria.

15. BOYS and GIRLS BATHROOMS
The GIRLS BATHROOM has YELLOW tile. The BOYS BATHROOM has ORANGE TILE. Your teacher may give you a pass to use the BATHROOM during class time.
