Measure Copper to be cut
Mark with pencil or marker

Cut Copper pipe using wheel cutter
1/8 Turn after each rotation until cut

Ream Copper Piping
Remove Burrs
Prevent Friction Loss

Clean Outside of Pipe
1” from end
Bright Shiny finish
Use Sand clothe to clean thoroughly

Flux The Outside of the pipe
1” from the end
Use the brush
Apply evenly

Clean copper fitting
Use fitting brush
Match brush to fitting
Clean inside
Bright Shiny Finish

Clean fitting

10. Copper Soldering Technique
Insert Pipe into Fitting
Rotate the fitting slightly
Make sure it bottoms out

11. Copper Soldering Technique
Light Torch and apply heat to the pipe in sweeping motion
Draw the solder into the joint with capillary action
Do Not over heat will cause Oxidation

12. Copper Soldering Technique
Wipe the joint with a wet rag to cool and remove flux.
Inspect joint , reheat and solder if not complete
Steel wool area to bright shine finish
