Problem/Solutions Desecration of Graves; Investigation found wrong/no remains in graves Solution: Heritage audit included in social/environmental impact assessment and plan Forced Removals: women stopped bulldozers, dirt dumped on them Solution: Free, Prior and Informed Consent Relocation areas: Poor/no services, often far from their families/schools, houses with no foundations Solution: Independent, comprehensive social/environmental impact assessments, overseen by a Multistakeholder committee which includes government, private sector, communities, CSOs
