This intensive course is appropriate for Registered Nurses and Allied Healthcare Professionals who care for patients with acute stroke.
The course follows the patient journey from acute hospital admission through to re-enablement and discharge home, or through to end of life care.
The course runs over 5 weeks plus a three hour multiple choice examination.
In addition to the course, there is an expectation that students will study in their own time, as revision of learning will be necessary to achieve successful completion of the assessment.
