Language Immersion -KIIS
The Kentucky Institute for International Studies and the UK German Department offer a summer program for language study and immersion outside of Munich and in Berlin (for German I). Students can transfer up to 6 Credit Hours to be applied to their German Minor/Major or to their University Studies Requirement.

International Internships/ Co-ops
Currently, Engineering Co-op consists of 3 full-time work rotations, alternating with full-time university semesters. In the International Model, qualified co-op students would work 1-2 rotations in the US and the last 1-2 rotations for the same employer in other countries. Alternatively, students could also do a 2-term co-op abroad (without the US portion)

INTI Malaysia Study Abroad Dr. Lineberry
Malaysia: INTI College study abroad. UK students can study at INTI in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for one semester (spring, summer or fall). UK Students can choose from a variety of courses that can be transferred to UK. Most classes well suited for sophomores Classes are taught in English The program is offered at local tuition rate (ca. ½ of UK tuition)

Engineers Without Borders

UK Engineering Co-op Program
Co-op students work in their field of study FULL TIME for a minimum of three semesters Each work semester is followed by full-time academic work Students gain 1 year of work experience before graduation

Co-op program extends four-year engineering program to a five year program
Co-op is paid: about $12 to $16/hour Students pay one hour of tuition while on co-op, which keeps them full time and maintains scholarships, financial aid, student benefits
