2 Reason for a New Fire Station
Current Station: Aging building (1965) 12,600 square feet Lack of Office Space Lack of Storage Space Limited parking- (5 spots) Land locked around the station. Traffic congestion! Planning for the future!

3 Land Solution Goal Obtain the land necessary for NSFC to continue the proud tradition of providing quality emergency services from a strategically located fire station. Identify acceptable parcels of land Close a “land solution” in 2015 Position to renovate or move the fire station

5 Land Research Effort From 2005 – 2014 various communications with the Township, Developers and other interested parties regarding the need to increase the fire company real estate. Fire Station Needs Assessment Committee active Fall 2014 February, Land Research Committee began its search. 1-5 to 2.0 acre lot is needed to fulfill the needs adequately 30-40 parking spaces Office/Training Space Bunk space for crew members Storage space for equipment/apparatus A place where members will want to “hang out” We pride ourselves in serving the community in an expeditious manner. Members in house= quick responses!
