1 Training programs in IngREes project
Training Scheme for Middle and Senior Level Professionals on Energy Efficiency and Use of RES in Buildings (Build Up Skills ingREeS) Training programs in IngREes project Nataliya Anisimova SEVEn, The Energy Efficiency Center

2 Project Summary Extending implementation of the Roadmap (Build Up Skills Pillar I) to middle and senior level construction professionals; Setting up qualification and continuing education scheme for middle and senior level professionals on energy efficiency and use of RES in buildings in Slovakia and the CZ; Promoting financial and legal framework underpinning further education and training; Accelerating renovations aimed at improving energy efficiency and use of RES in buildings. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No

3 Objectives and main steps of INGREES

4 Expected impacts Increased motivation to invest in competencies through increased market demand in intelligent energy solutions in the sector of buildings; Facilitated investments in competencies through building up legal and financial framework for continuing education and training. Improved competencies of middle and senior level construction professionals through 5 education programmes: Site manager; Construction site supervisor (SK) / Technical supervisor of the builder (CZ); Energy counselor; Architect/Planner; Assessor of the achieved energy efficiency of the buildings. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No

6 Training programs

7 Qualification requirements – site manager (example)
Energy flows and procedures; Knowledge of low-carbon materials and assembly procedures;… Competence profile in energy efficiency and use of RES Provide the use of building materials and structures; Ensure appropriate storage of components; Use appropriate technology;… Role of professional in increasing energy efficiency and use of RES Prepare for checking compliance with EE and RES; Develop ability in total quality management Develop ability in optimizing effort/output ratio;… Goals of the training programmes Can assign responsibilities to enumerated stakeholders; Able to explain how data on construction process are collected; Can demonstrate on digital model of the building their ability to identify construction tasks… Key targeted learning outcomes Effective integrated management of BIM; Recycling and waste management on site; Principles for certification of sustainable construction… Recommended subjects for training programme This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No

8 Training programs TRAINING MODULES ASSESSMENT METHODS
SUSTAINABILITY DESIGN – (PLANING ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND SUSTAINABILITY) INTEGRATED BUILDING SYSTEMS CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT AND LIFE CYCLE MANAGEMENT AM SD BS CM AM1 SD1 BS1 CM1 National and international Assessment methods: - LEED, BREEAM, DGNB, SBTOOL - Assessment concept CEN/TC Consulting - Sustainable criteria (key performance) - Certification LEED, BREEAM, DGNB etc.; general purpose and contents of assessments, environmental, social and economical aspects of assessment schemes; key performance indicators of assessment schemes Basic climate adaptive design: - Environmental sustainable design, EE Architecture - Passive and active concepts of NZEB - Building users behavior Understanding basic climate adaptive design principles; low-, passive, - plus-energy buildings Integrated Building Systems: - Heating System - Lightning System - Electrical System - Ventilation and AC - Hot Water Preparation Integration of building systems in building design; HVAC technologies, control strategies Recycling and Waste Management on Site: - Site waste management concept - Recycling oriented demolition - Use of recycled construction products - Quality assurance for recycling materials Recycling Schemes on site; waste management and supervision; hazardous materials, waste handling related to demolition of building

9 Architects/Planners - Competence profile (EXAMPLE)
Low-carbon designer skills, lifecycle costs of buildings, assessment of energy flows and procedures; Knowledge and skills in designing energy-efficient and low- emission buildings (including their structural, material and technical solutions), nearly zero-energy buildings, integrated designing and schemes of sustainability Assessment with emphasis on energy objectives; Broad knowledge of energy flows and procedures, energy and source efficiency, renewable energy sources. Knowledge of low carbon (as regards energy consumption) materials and assembly procedures, knowledge of energy objectives, participatory planning. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No
