The League Games will be held Monday and Wednesday Nights
Starting at 7, can go as late as 11 Scheduled every 45 minutes Schedule is through IMLeagues.com Please add players to roster before the season starts! Roster will lock after the last regular season game. Anyone not on the roster for playoffs will not be eligible to play All Games will be played at the Student Recreation Center

The Game Three, 10 minute halves 6 on 6 (5 + a Goalie)
Running clock the entire game 1 timeout per game No Overtime in Regular Season Playoffs: 5 minute overtime period, followed by shootout if needed 6 on 6 (5 + a Goalie) Goals count as 1 point, regardless of gender CoRec Rule: At least 2 of each gender on the court at all times Mercy Rule: When a team is up by 6 goals with 5 minutes remaining in the game 2 Officials per game Please show them respect, they are here to serve you!

Equipment Every player must wear pinnies We provide goalie equipment
Can bring their own glove, blocker and helmet They must use our chest protector and leg pads Every player must wear pinnies Keep track of # 3 penalties = fouling out We provide sticks Players can bring their own, but no composite sticks. Blade must be plastic Must wear sneakers

Basic Rules Officials will initiate drop puck for Faceoffs
NO CHECKING! Goalie Crease: Goalie can not play the ball outside of the crease Players may not go into the crease Goalie can ‘cover’ the puck to stop play Will result in a faceoff Players should keep their sticks on the floor No slapshots, stick may not go higher than a player’s waist If a stick breaks, they need to drop it and get a new one

Additional Rules Players may not use their hands to pass the puck
If they catch it in the air, they must drop it immediately Penalty: Illegal hand pass, no penalty time Players may use their feet to kick the ball, but they can not score a goal on a kicked ball Players may not lay down to block a shot Must be stationary, can go down to one knee If ball goes out of play, faceoff from nearest “faceoff circle” No Jewelry No offsides or icing Players can sub on the fly Exception: Goalie. Must wait for dead ball to change goalies. Must alert official first

Penalties – 3 in a Game = Ejection
Fighting is prohibited, players involved will be ejected 1 Minute Penalties (Penalty box located next to score table) Checking Tripping Hooking Illegal Shot Block Slashing Broken Stick Violation High Sticking Too many players on floor Cross checking Illegal slap shot Interference Including Goalie

Power Plays Teams will play a person down when a player commits a penalty If a player is in the penalty box: The opposing team scores between penalty time has transpired: Player can return to game early If their own team scores, must wait duration of penalty time

Penalty Shots Any violation that results in penalty shot:
Puck will be placed at half-court spot Players will have 5 seconds to shot the puck after initiating their movement If Goalie commits a penalty, the shot can be re-taken If offense commits a penalty, the penalty shot is dismissed Other players must remain behind Midcourt line until puck is shot Results: Goal or Faceoff

Sportsmanship GPA Scale 0-4 Score recorded for every game
Forfeit = 0 Default has no impact 2 Forfeits = kicked out of league. 2 Defaults = 1 forfeit Unsporting behavior, Technical Fouls, anything that may have negatively effected the game. Teams need avg score of 2.75 to be eligible for the playoffs Show up, have fun, be respectful to players and officials
