Review: What have we learned about vide games so far …
Video games started out very simplistic (Pong, Tennis & Target Practice …); No color, so sprites. Video Games picked up notoriety in generation II, when a bunch companies started to take part in the industry Video games started to lose popularity, when there were too many companies producing a similar product (why we only see 3 major gaming companies today.)

“Gen 4” … From 1987 – 1996 Referred to as the 16 bit era (games were running twice as powerful as video games in Generation II & III) Atari stopped making video games, the two main video game companies now are Sega and Nintendo (A big Rivalry emerges)

Multi button controllers, more than just a “D-Pad” – Up to 8 buttons Better sound / music capabilities (Stereo Sound and produced music); Michael Jackson Better color, better looking sprites, 3-Dimensional capabilities.

Most Popular for “Sonic The Hedgehog” games; (sold 15 million units) Cost $190, which is about $361 dollars in 2015 Games ran for about $60 each

Super NES Released August 23rd 1991.
Most Popular for Super Mario World (which sold 20 million units). Cost about $200 which about $350 in 2015.

Also tell me about the processors of either the Sega Genesis or the Super Nintendo.
