Types of care for CALD The Department recognises four types of care for CALD residents : Ethnospecific Clustering Multicultural General Access

UNDERSTANDING CLUSTERING
Simply, refers to: Caring for a group of people who come from the same CALD background (or similar) in a mainstream facility

Partnership A sustainable relationship between a CALD community and an aged care provider (facility) The relationship can be defined by a Memorandum of Understanding

Basis for dialogue – not a legal document Demonstrates commitment from both parties Describes what each party can do for the other Formalises the relationship Provides opportunity for promotion MOU templates are available from TACS
