1) Discuss what types of symbols you could use if you were trying to communicate with someone without using language.
2) Be able to share a symbol that your group created.

5. What Other Things Did Greece Give Us?
Alphabet-
The early people of Greece liked created an alphabet that is similar to the letters we used today in English.
Coins-
Because of all the city-states, the people started to trade goods. They began using coins to buy items as well.
Phoenicians-
Another group of people that were around during the city- states of Greece.

6. Individual Task: You should write at least 5 sentences for #3
1) On your own you are going to create a name tag using Greek Letters.
2) Besides the Greek Letters you need to also include:
1) The English Letter Under the Greek Letter~25 Points
2) Decorate your name tag with drawings that represent you~50 25 Points.
3) On the back of the name tag, be able to tell me why the people of early Greece used an alphabet and coins~50 Points
