7 Give Respect to Get Respect for both myself and my students (this includes towards each other; my class will be a safe haven for learning) Raise hands for questions and comments Wait until a break to throw away trash, sharpen pencil, etc. One student per gender at a time for bathroom and water (need planner) Questions about grades are for lunch, before and after school Classroom Routines

9 Homework Policy Chapter notes are a regular expectation
I check for both completion and content I do offer late work for my students Half credit no later than a day late Still complete the homework! Practice for Mastery Homework Policy

10 Assessments I do exams every units
Will vary in style and amount (multiple choice, short answer, document analysis) I perform informal checks during class through partner and small group discussions Midterm and Final Final is 20% of their grade; STUDY HARD!!!! Assessments
