4. 5 good emperors Nerva- First good emperor, elected by senate
Trajan- schools in Rome
Hadrian- builds wall in Britainia
Antoninus Pius- stabilized borders
Marcus Aurelius- last good emperor, expand empire to height

Gladiators fought against each other, and animals
Ratairius- Gladiator who carried a net and a trident

Spartacus- captured by the Romans and forced to be a gladiator.
Led uprising with 70,000 other slaves
Eventually captured and crucified
