Vision
Every MLC project brings value to partner organizations and MLC volunteers.
Mission
Develop and offer workshops and coaching sessions that enhance the ability of Michigan enterprises to sustain a continuous improvement mindset
Advance the deployment of lean principles in Michigan organizations by providing access to learning opportunities
Educate people and create awareness of how lean principles can improve Michigan
Develop resource plans to staff projects utilizing the full breadth of the MLC community

Meet with sponsors and finalize the project request description
Form the team (both the MLC and Customer resources)
Determine if interviews are necessary
Determine what training might be needed
Plan and conduct an improvement workshop or training as needed
Coach and mentor the project leads and sponsors as needed throughout implementation and modifications
NOTE: every project is different so there is no ‘1 right approach’
