5 What is a Program? A program is an organized activity or collection of activities intended to provide a service, opportunity, or resource to members. A program must have clear, defined objectives with measurable outcomes. These objectives should fall directly in line with the National Directives and the mission of this Society.

Collaborate with Treasurer to effectively budget for programs Plan and develop NSBE programs for your chapter Implement NSBE National and Regional programs at your respective chapters Manage the chapter programs zone: AEx, BD, PCI, TORCH Reporting progress and success within effective programs Be your in-house chapter expert on all programs that are going on

14 Give support to students who have technical innovations
BD Chair Breakdown Compile information on African American owned businesses in the area as a resource catalogue Give support to students who have technical innovations Implement business and entrepreneurial development at the Chapter level 1.    Foster leadership development, financial vitality and cultural awareness for the membership by implementing NSBEpreneur: Business Plan Competition and Elevator Pitch Competitions at FZC and FRC. a.    NSBEpreneur: Business Plan Competition- There will be competition scrimmage at NJ, Metro-LI, Upstate and NEZ Zone Conference; at least 2 business groups will face off for practice and get feedback from judges to prepare them for main competition at FRC. b.    NSBEpreneur: Elevator Pitch Mixer- Will occur at FRC, competitors will be in a room of undercover judges and non-judges alike and you will have to pitch your business idea to whomever you speak to not knowing who the judges are.
