4 Deployment and Use of MDW Products by Third-Parties
Why do we need a new policy? Guidelines Governing: Deployment and Use of MDW Products by Third-Parties Overview: It is MDW’s goal to ensure that products are properly valued when sold and deployed to third parties. A proper valuation would include the costs of deployment associated with both human and infrastructure resources utilized at MDW.

5 Deployment and Use of MDW Products by Third-Parties
Guidelines Governing: Deployment and Use of MDW Products by Third-Parties For the Remainder of 2004 Prior to any price negotiations with third parties, MDW requests an opportunity to assist you (on a case-by-case basis) in determining a projected cost of technology deployment to third-parties. (1) Please begin by contacting MDW’s Consulting Services Department and provide a description of the scope of the deployment in as much detail as possible. (2) Our analysis will produce an estimate of man hours and consumable resources. The estimate will be expressed in dollar values and would represent a projected cost of technology deployment by Morris Communications. (3) Final pricing will continue to be determined by direct negotiations between you and your customer. Simply, we are trying to ensure profitable deployments by estimating our costs prior to negotiation.

6 Guidelines Governing:
Deployment and Use of MDW Products by Third-Parties Effective 2005 – MDW Fees for Technology Deployment to Third-Parties MDW will not charge the MBU fees if the product, technology or service is to be utilized directly by the MBU in the MBU's online product and brand. MDW will assess fees to the MBU for products, technology and services that the MBU makes available to third-party entities The fees will be estimated on a time and materials basis.
