Use Music as a Timer During group or individual work, play music and have your signature song as the closing song. Use Music in Discipline If students are tardy to class, have sing I’m a Little Tea Pot or Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Use it as a guide for classroom noise. If you can’t hear the music you are too loud!

Activities for musical-rhythmic intelligences
Kazoo or Lose Have students present a small skits with restricted words. If they hear a restricted word, they blow the kazoo and gain a bonus point. Opera or Bust Place a variety of music genres like opera, Broadway, western, or rap, into a hat. Then have the students perform a skit based on your content in one of those formats by drawing it from the hat
