Restricted Entry Courses
Some courses have interviews/ Aptitude tests/ Portfolio/ Auditions Medicine –HPAT test Sat February 25th These courses are called restricted entry Application must be made by the 1st February. Details of all restricted entry courses are in CAO Handbook

Minimum Entry Requirements
Must meet MER before been considered for a course Consult HEI literature to find out what is needed to get into course Points-scoring system Points allocated to the best 6 results in any one siting of a L. Cert Check CAO handbook pg 10

Deferral Procedures You must get agreement from relevant HEI
No guarantee Do not accept the course when Offer arrives in August Write immediately to the Uni/ IT Letter with appropriate part of offer form attached Must arrive in the HEI at least 2 days before reply date
