3. Voyager
The voyager spacecraft was launched in 1977 and its purpose is to take high quality pictures with details unatainable from earth, and send them back to earth. The voyager has made many new and valuable discoveries, many being on jupiter and saturn. There is another one, voyager 2 which has made many discoveries as well, the most recent one being that the 'bubble' formed around the Solar System by supersonic solar wind is asymmetrical and dynamic.

4. The voyager 1 and 2 continue to explore space today.

5. The voyager was the first spacecraft to discover that there was active volcanoes on Jupiter's moon Io!!!

The voyager t was assembled in Pasadena California at NASAS LAB. The craft has traveled to mostly Jupiter and Saturn, and now there is a voyager 2 which is projected to explore the outermost edges of out galaxy.
