Latest news: Special mention certificates were awarded to: Reception - Alexi Yr 1 – Nahla & Sophie Yr 2 – Olly Yr 3 – Shayla-Mae Yr 4 – Abigail & Alana Yr 5 – Charlie Yr 6 – Arron, Chelsea & all the pupils who attended Dol y Moch We have welcomed our new Nursery children into the Limbrick Wood family this week. They are settling in really well and thoroughly enjoyed “Toastie Friday” this morning. Entering and leaving school: We are really pleased with the way our children have been arriving at the start of the school day using the new system. Lining up on the playground at the end of the day has also been successful. We were very pleased with the way our children coped with the wet weather arrangements when it poured with rain on Thursday afternoon. Our children are amazing! New course for parents at Tile Hill Library-places still available: The course title is “Maths and English Explained” and will help parents to understand how these subjects are taught to your children. It starts on 28th September and runs from 9.15am to 11.15am. Please ring Dorothy Hunter on There may be a crèche place left. Dol y Moch: Our children had a fantastic time at Dol y Moch. They stayed at the outdoor pursuits centre in Wales from Thursday 14th to Monday 18th September. We have been hearing all about it this week. Photos will be published in our newsletter next week. New Toddler Group: Well Begun YOOF! Toddler group has started again at Limbrick Wood Baptist Church on Tuesdays, from 9.30am to 11.30am during term time. Refreshments, toys, games and a natter are all available.

If your number changes, the office needs to be informed straightaway so that your records can be updated. This then also updates the numbers used for Parentmail text messages so it is really important to keep us up to date. Reminder about no nuts or sesame seeds in lunch boxes: Thank you for ensuring that your child’s lunch box is free of any product that contains nuts or sesame seeds. This also includes products which have “may contain nuts due to the manufacturing process” in the allergens section of the product’s wrapper. Please ask any member of staff for further information. The bell goes at 8.55am. Children need to arrive at school between 8.45am and 8.55am, in order to undertake early morning work. Therefore we will continue to record poor punctuality. If children arrive after 8.55am, they will be recorded in the late book and their parents/carers will be asked to sign the late book and record the reason why.
