Who signs international agreements at UGR?
UGR Statutes >> RECTOR, on his own initiative or after a proposal of a School, Department, foreign institutions, etc. The Rector can DELEGATE to other Vice-Rectors, School representatives, etc.

NORMAL PROCEDURE: PROPOSAL: submitted to the Secretary General’s Office (by any member of faculty, School, Department, etc.) or from the other institution ↓ REPORTS: verified through reports from services involved (required by the SG’s office to those units involved) APPROVAL (Secretary General) Rector’s signature Original copy: scanned, filed and uploaded by the SG’s office to the web

► STUDENT EXCHANGE UNDER BILATERAL AGREEMENTS Outside the EU = Out of Erasmus mobility scheme: Latin America Eastern European Countries Arab countries Northern America Australia and New Zealand Asia Student exchange: non-degree Language assistanships Short-term training stays Language students who complement their studies with UGR regular classes

International Mobility: General Procedure
PROPOSAL submitted to the Secretary General’s Office (as a rule, by IRO, as well as by the Schools or staff interested in the promotion of mobility) ↓ REPORT FROM THE VICE-RECTOR OFINTERNATIONAL RELATIONS (as services involved in mobility management) APPROVAL (Secretary General) Rector’s signature Original copy: scanned, filed and uploaded by the SG’s office - contact data, -cooperation prospects, -history and nature of the relationship of the promoter and foreign institution ↓ Student exchange balance for geografical area+ Evaluation by the team and advisory council (strategic importance)

Erasmus Agreements Requirements
DURATION OF CONTRACT IN ACADEMIC YEARS NAME AND CODE NAME OF THE CONTACT PERSON of both institutions INCOMING AND OUTGOING STUDENT MOBILITY (subject area and code, number of students, months) Teaching/staff mobility (TS by subject areas, staff by department/faculty if possible) Optional: language requirements for incoming students/staff
