Tuesday Folder

Behavior Chart
Your child will be coming home with a folder each day. It is called a Tuesday Folder because every Tuesday, you will receive important news and information from the school. The behavior charts will be included in this folder and should be signed and returned each day. It’s VERY IMPORTANT that you review this EACH DAY. This is our mode of communication.
When students have homework, it will also need to stay in this folder.
A behavior chart will come home everyday with your child. Students have the ability to move up for great behavior, as well as move down when behavior needs to improve. The colors that are on the chart will correspond with where your child ended their day at. We will make contact when necessary about behavior.
Most supplies brought to school will be community supplies. They will be distributed through all of the classrooms as needed. However, we will do our best to allow students to use folders and notebooks they brought for themselves.
School News
-HES is using a school wide behavior system this year. A note came home today to explain this in depth. We began using the behavior stick on the first day of school so that students are aware of how the system works.
-Breakfast is served from 7:00- 7:30. All students Kindergarten-5h should go to breakfast as they arrive. If your child is eating breakfast, please let them know that they should go to the lunchroom BEFORE going to class in the morning.
