Commitment requires: Motivational energy to serve and that drives the collective effort. Implies passion, intensity, and durations directed both towards group activity and intended outcomes knowledge of self

Skills for effective Communication
Set up Face to Face time to communicate logistics, planning, and brainstorming 2. Use Active Listening Skills – listen with intent and hear the other person – seek to understand and to be understood 3. Model and Practice Transparency and Honesty How do we effectively engage in these discussions? Practice practice practice – building a habit – will translate into the work force – transferrable skills 4. Follow through – Do your actions align to your commitments? Are you being a Congruent leader? 5. Set expectations in the beginning and make sure all Leaders are on the same page!

Let’s practice! Model behavior – lets practice each pair will get a scenario and you will engage in a conflict resolution type of meeting/conversation If we have time – would could engage them in a practice exercise!
