All sites don’t have to be ordered at same time
Confirm site will open before ordering
NEW this year – software can be swapped to another site

10. TY2016 Software
TaxSlayer Online approaches tax preparation in a new way for Tax Aide, adding more user choices during preparation
TSO is the only program Tax Aide will use for TY2016
No desktop programs, nor contingency programs
TSO for TY 2016 will be available during late November, 2016
All access to TWO will end on November 9, 2016

11. TaxSlayer Pro Online Practice Lab Software
Use Internet Explorer 8.0 or higher, Google Chrome or Safari Browser 5.1.

12. Creating Accounts for Classes/ labs
Instructor creates account for each student using:
Student’s address
User name in standard format of 1st initial + last name + PL + group Identifier (e.g., site name)
PW that is same for all students
Security question/answer that is same for all students

13. Configuring TSO Pro
Configuration of TSO is primarily performed at the site level
There will be no TY2016 NTC National Template for TSO
Setup Considerations for States, Districts and Sites are:
The Multi-Site Administrator hierarchy, if desired (p. 55)*

An additional Taxpayer Profile, if desired
Return Tags to be used (p. 40)*
