Align usage of industry certifications with “kansaNs can” vision (supports postsecondary success measures) Delineate which certifications work for both “end of pathway” AND “count for district postsecondary success rate” Identify Available training supports for some of the certifications Explain with some depth one area of the listed certifications that counts for both: NCCER (by Cloys Bayless-Business & Industry rep.) Brief suggestions of additionAL Possibilities for the future so that more pathways have aligned, meaningful industry-recognized certifications

Pathway(s) Qualifying for Certification Funding
Industry-Recognized Certification for PSS Notes Web and Digital Communications; Network Systems; Programming & Software Development; Information Support and Services Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) Clelia McCrory recommends especially targeting the Web Development Certification Module which includes using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint together! Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Specializing individually in Word, Excel, or PowerPoint not altogether. These are stackable certifications not dependent on each other.
