New version of PERS Main changes:
Allignment with the new ISO 14001:2015 Strengthening of the Plan – Do – Check – Act cycle Clarification of Requirements and Guidelines

New environmental challenges
Based on ISO 14001:2015: Environmental focus as pillar of CSR / sustainability and integral part of the business strategy The emphasis shifts from ‘prevention of pollution’ to ‘environmental protection’ More attention for the lifecycle perspective of products and services port users and the logistic chain, circular economy More attention for the context and the stakeholders of the organization More emphasis on the environmental performance

Section 1.1: Environmental policy The policy is tailor made and reflects the nature and scale of the port and its activities, services and context The policy includes the long term environmental goals The policy is alligned with the strategic direction of the port
