4. Emergency Contraception Definition
Emergency contraception is defined as methods to prevent pregnancy after unprotected intercourse
Most common is using oral contraceptive pills within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse
Known as the morning after pill, back up birth control and emergency birth control
IUD insertion is also another method, needs to be inserted within 5 days
