Prior Knowledge: Fact and Opinion
Remember a fact is real and true. An opinion is what we think. Trees are plants. Bears climb trees. I like bears. Knowing what an opinion is will help us write our opinion about the story. Fact Fact Opinion

your opinion about what you read (what you think) Was it interesting? Did you not like it? Was it funny? What did you think about the characters? Did it remind you of another story you have read? Did you make a connection? How did it make you feel?

I think that Sponge Bob is a funny character because he always says funny things. He ate two slices of pizza. This story reminds me of my first day of school. I didn’t like this story because it made me feel sad. Clifford reminds me a lot of my own dog. We went to recess. I like playing at recess. Fact Fact
