42 And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of
6
bread and the prayers. 43 And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were
7
being done through the apostles
being done through the apostles. 44 And all who believed were together and had all things in
8
common. 45 and they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to
9
all, as any had need. 46 And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in
10
their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, 47 praising God and having
11
favor with all the people
favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.

respectable, hospitable...
20
Titus 1:7-9
21
7 For the overseer must be above reproach as God’s steward, not self-willed, not quick-tempered,
22
not addicted to wine, not pugnacious, not fond of sordid gain, 8 but hospitable, loving what
23
is good, sensible, just, devout, self-controlled...
24
Hebrews 13:2
25
2 Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers...
26
Romans 12:9-18
27
9 Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good.
10 Love one another with brotherly
28
affection. Outdo one another in showing honor
affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. 11 Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit,
29
serve the Lord. 12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.
30
13 Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality.
31
Romans 15:5-7
32
5 May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another,
33
in accord with Christ Jesus, 6 that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our
34
Lord Jesus Christ.
35
7 Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.
