4. Devon Rex
Coat is very short, fine, wavy, soft; can have a rippled effect.
Grooming requires very gentle stroking with a soft mitt rather than a brush.
Eyes are wide set, large and oval in all colors. Muscular build, slim legs and long whip-like tail, broad chested, flat forehead, prominent cheek bones and a crinkled brow.
Temperament – extraordinarily playful; mischievous yet never unkind.

Coat – a fine body suede (down). Grooming is fairly easy requiring more sponging and wiping than combing and brushing.

Wrinkled skin at key points, few or no whiskers; big ears,, whip like tail.
Temperament – intelligent, very lively and playful.
May be visible fur on the brow, around the toes and at the tip of the tail. Well built, sturdy cat with a head slightly longer than wide set on a long, slender neck. Large wide-open ears are tall and the outer edge is in line with the wedge of the face. Long slim legs with elegant, rounded paws. Long toes. Long, finely tapered tail.
Breed is susceptible to skin allergies and developing lumps.
