16. SOME FACTS AND FIGURES. Bed capacity 63 Age range is 1 – 14 years
Preventable Mortality for 2010 was 730 children
83 died in the neonatal unit due to asphyxia due to lack of resucitair
420 died due to dehydration which was is directly linked to lack of parenteral therapy and Malnutrition.
127 died due to Malaria and other causes.
