Meeting in IES Las Banderas, Spain
2
Context In Poland student start studying ICT at primary school.
They usually have one hour per week during primary, lower-secondary and secondary school. Each school has a ICT classroom. Student usually have access to computer (one per one or one per pair). Teachers follow curriculum published by our Ministry of Education
3
Context - our school Our school is very small, we have only six classes (about 140 students) and 16 teachers. Our school building is small - it's only 8 classrooms. We have four interactive whiteboards, two ICT rooms and two digital projectors. Some teachers use this equipment during lessons, but not everybody. Although our awareness of benefits of using modern technology has increased in recent years, we still teach in traditional ways too much, Participation and cooperation in this project give us plenty of opportunity to develop modern styles of teaching, provide us with new tools for better, more effective education.

5
Process How do we make this?
When our teacher want to use something new, they learn it alone, or we make a training course at school. When a first interactive whiteboard was bought in our school, a short course how to use it was organized. But only teachers who taught in this class used it. Some teachers who are aware of unavoidable changes, try to get know and improve their skills on their own and share the knowledge with others.

What do we use in our school?
Librus Synergia (electronic register) YouTube HotPotatoes G-Mail Prezi GoogleDrive GeoGebra EduRom LearningApps Glogster
7
How do we prove if it works?
First od all - during lessons - our students are more active, they want to participate in lessons doing exercises. When they are taught in such a way, they are more motivated and involved.
8
Impact on the school - Our students aren’t afraid of new technologies- (they are more confident than teachers) - They look for new ways of studying - They think, that study with using new technologies are more interesting, involving and motivating -They are willingly to participate in projects in which they can use applications and the Internet tools
9
Next step in our school - motivate more teachers to use new technologies - share the knowledge with others - lessons for teachers to present benefits of Internet tools
