5. Identification of Opportunity
Back in 1998 we supplied, installed and commissioned tank
gauging system in Kalochori Terminal, consisting of 32 SmartRadar 873, MTT 862/864 for temperature and Entis+ system.
Since then we provided After Sales support on call basis.
Thus we knew that Helpe will invite us to bid the tender.
Problems to Solve
To meet the requirements of new legislations applied by the Greek
government forcing oil companies to install the so called “Inlet and Outlet System”.
Existing gauges, our 873 SmartRadar, could not be upgraded to measure density and were not supported with spare parts any more
Existing signal transmission cables were very old (causing communication problems)
