5. Language Arts Electives
Print Journalism – A year-long elective course that produces the school newspaper. The class is by application only and is open to students beginning in their sophomore year.
Broadcast Journalism – A year-long elective course that produces the weekly news show. The class is by application only and is open to students during their senior year.
Reading – For students reading two levels below grade level. Provides assistance for students having difficulty meeting AKS on grade level.
