Overview Current US Program – Regions 1 - 6 USD Business checking account with Wachovia/Wells Fargo Bank (Region 8 – 10 Custody) 800 + Accounts active Online statements, streamlined administration, no fees Canadian Program – Region 7 CAD Account with JP Morgan Chase Toronto Deposits through Bank of Montreal Business checking account with all of the benefits of the current US program Accounts opened so far: 16! I’m sure many of you are familiar with the IEEE Concentration Banking program. It provides an interest bearing checking account which pays interest equal to the US six-month rate on certificates of deposit. The Concentration Banking program allows the local unit to retain control of its funds while eliminating almost all banking fees. This program was intended originally for the US Sections, but is also being used by non-US units for Custody Accounts and short-term investment accounts. USD CB Cards launched in 2007, CAD CB Cards in 2008 The CB Card is a MasterCard with debit features allowing Treasurers to make payments wherever MasterCard is accepted Each transaction amount is deducted directly from your Unit’s Concentration Bank Account effective the date the transaction was processed by the vendor CB Cards can also be used to access local currency at ATMs world wide All CB Card activity is posted to your statement and includes all payment details Card application and service is coordinated through the IEEE Procurement Department.
