Setup Web design in Google Classroom. The code is 8mjwai. Setup the following folders in your student drive Internet Unit HTML Unit CSS Unit Dreamweaver Project Images

Sign into computers – Open Google Classroom Go to Google Classroom classroom.google.com  and sign in with your student gmail and password. Sign in as a student. 7 Connecting to the Internet
ISP (Internet Service Provider) – business that allows customers computers to access the Internet. Examples include Verizon, Comcast, AT&T Modem – Cable Modem, Telephone modem

8 Connecting to the Internet
Fiber Optic Cable Domain Name Server (DNS) - Internet's equivalent of a phone book. They maintain a directory of domain names and translate them to Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. This is necessary because, although domain names are easy for people to remember, computers or machines, access websites based on IP addresses.

9 NAP’s & POP’s POP(Point of Presence) - refers to an access point, location or facility that connects to and helps other devices establish a connection with the Internet. NAP (Network Access Points) – a public network exchange facility where Internet service providers (ISPs) connected with one another in peering arrangements
