This week…
We have been getting ready for our enterprise week. First of all this week we had to decide on our team groups and create a team name. We then discussed what each group will sell to the rest of the school and made a list of resources and equipment that we will need. Next we designed our own group posters advertising our products. We needed to make sure they were colourful, included prices, ingredients and our group team name. We have now began to create our products in our teams. We needed good communication and teamwork to ensure our products and produce is the best it can be!
We have also been practising partitioning numbers into tens and units using numicon.
Reminders
Move up Mondays-
Move up Mondays will continue on Monday 17th July. The children will need to be taken into Year 1 area in the morning on arrival. Have a fantastic time and we will see you all on Tuesday when the children will come back into reception area on arrival.
End of school term-
The school term will end on Friday 21st July. Can we please ask that you remind your child to take all their belongings out of school in the last week to ensure nothing is left over the summer holidays.
Market Enterprise-
All children will have an opportunity during school hours to visit the school market on Wednesday 19th July to see the other class market stalls. The children are allowed a budget of £3.50 to spend at the market.
Home Learning activities
For your suggested home learning activity this week, we are asking you to enjoy your very last weekend in Reception. Play lots of games, see all your family and look at your favourite story time book at bedtime!
