2. About Bandura Born: 1925 – present.
He grew up in North Alberta, Canada.
He is best known for social and emotional intellectual research.

3. Theory
The willingness of children and adults to imitate behavior observed in others, in particular, aggression. Models are an important source for learning new behaviors. He suggested that environment causes behavior, as well as behavior causes environment. He labeled this concept reciprocal determinism. Personality is interaction between environment, behavior , and psychological processes.

1. Attention- If you are going to learn anything you need to be paying attention.
2. Retention- When the information is stored, you can later “bring up” the image or description, so that you can reproduce it with your own behavior.
3. Reproduction- Translating images in your head to actual behavior.
4. Motivation- You have to be motivated to imitate.

6. Stages of Self-regulation
1. Self-observation- we look at our behavior and keep tabs on it.
2. Judgement- we compare what we see with a standard
3. Self-response- if we did well with your standard, you give yourself rewarding self- responses.

7. Opinion on Theory
We agree with Bandura because your personality is based on the experiences you have been through.
1. A death in your family can really alter your personality.
2. Living in the city or country impacts the way you think and view the world.
3. We are a lot like our parents because they model certain behavior, and we tend to pick up on that behavior.
