Stigma & Discrimination reduction is one of the UNAIDS key 7 Programs to Address Stigma and Discrimination and Increase Access to Justice Stigma & discrimination reduction as part of comprehensive packages of services for key populations

5 Innovative programmatic examples to reduce stigma and discriminations funded through the Global Fund and partners Partnership with civil society organizations to provide training to health providers to meet the needs of key populations (e.g. Health4Men by Anova Health Institute) Partnership with technical agencies to enhance and develop competency of clinicians and CBO staff providing care to and with key populations (e.g. UNDP Multi-Country South Asia HIV Programme Phase II) Partnership with media, civil society and key population-led networks to change attitude towards key populations (e.g. HIVOS Multi-Country Key Populations: Representation, Evidence and Attitude Change for Health Impact: KP-REACH).

6 Action needed Adequately invest and bring programs to scale
Implement programs to increase sensitivity and competency of clinicians providing care to and with key populations as part of comprehensive programs for key populations Ensure meaningful partnerships and engagement with key populations-led groups, networks and organizations in program design and delivery Make facility-based services more acceptable, accessible, affordable and equitable Ensure sustainability of efforts as part of long-term investments in human resources for health
