2. Unit Summary
The students will learn about key events and people during the turbulent Civil Rights Era. Students will examine video, pictures, and primary source documents. Classroom blogs, written assignments, and groups interactive discussions will be utilized to facilitate learning.

What is meant by the term Civil Rights?

Where were the various “hot spots” in the country regarding the movement
Who were the influential people during this movement?
How did the Brown v. Board of Education decision affect segregation?
